Imagine:
An area of 1.3 million hectares, or five times the size of Luxembourg, is protected from deforestation and destruction for generations to come. And not only that. In collaboration with local communities, rainforest areas lost over the past 20 years are being gradually replanted and regenerated. Seruini, a tributary of the Amazon, on whose banks the areas lie, gives this flagship project its name. Measures with proven success are financed transparently through the sale of high-quality biodiversity certificates. This way, currently unavoidable emissions from our projects can be offset in a meaningful way.
